Day 2 : Break out Havelock Island
It’s time to soak you in the white sandy beaches of Havelock Island and get lost. Discover the most famous Radha Nagar beach, watching sun set is spectacular from this beach, Snorkel the one among the best coral site of Andaman and what not Andaman Escapades organizes activities like Sport Fishing, Discover Scuba Diving (An opportunity for everyone to explore the mysterious underworld world & does not require any skills or certification), Candle Light dinner etc.

A leisure day out in Havelock Island to move around and explore on your own. Or VISIT THE BEST SNORKELING SITE IN HAVELOCK “THE ELEPHANT BEACH “. THE RETURN FERRY FROM HAVELOCK ISLAND IS ONLY AT 0400 HOURS. AND THE CHECK-OUT TIME OF MOSTLY ALL THE RESORTS IN HAVELOCK IS 10.00 AM. Hence it is advice able to go for coral watching early in the morning by this way you can save yourself from the day’s heat & be prepared to check-out the resort. Generally we try not to check-out the resort but in case the resort has more arrival on that particular day then we have to check-out the room. Return back to Port Blair by evening ferry our escorts will help you with necessary transfers. IF you wish to do some shopping, the same can be arranged as well. Kindly inform the tour Manager.

Day 4 : Expedition Ross Island & Chidya Tapu
ROSS ISLAND (FACTS & HISTORY)
Ross Island, a few km from Aberdeen jetty at Port Blair, is yet another member of the Andaman group of islands. , this island was the seat of "British power." Ross Island was the headquarters of the Indian Penal Settlement for nearly 80 years. It had everything — bazaar, bakery, stores, water treatment plant, church, tennis court, printing press, secretariat, hospital, cemetery and what have you. Today, everything has disappeared except some buildings, which housed some of these landmarks. Named after the marine surveyor Sir Daniel Ross, the Island soon became the base. Initially, crude barracks of bamboo and grass were put up for freedom fighters while the rest of the party stayed on board the ships that had brought them. Later, the freedom fighters built houses, offices, barracks and other structures at the Ross Island.
CHIDYA TAPU
Some 25 Kms from Port Blair by Road is a small coastal village CHIDYA TAPU, means the place of Birds. Famous for bird watching one can spot some rare species of birds. Surrounded by some of the best mountain ranges sun set is absolutely awesome from this place. One can even visit the biological park to discover some of the animal species of Andaman.

This is nothing but having a mask over the eyes which consist of a tube which is protruding outside the water surface to breathe easily. There is nothing special or exciting than having your own means to explore this island , you will never be lost as there is only one single stretch of road covering the entire islands . Our representative will deliver the scooter at your hotel reception by the breakfast time.
Explore on your own. Visit the Radha Nagar beach and many other beautiful places during the day. The vehicle will be at your disposal throughout the day. (Morning 0900 Am to 05.30 in the Evening).

DAY 6 : OPTIONAL DAY
We give you the option to decide you trip for the day. Either to Wandoor Marine National Park / Baratang Tribal Island.
WANDOOR ISLAND DETAIL
Situation at a distance of some 32 Kms from Port Blair down south, their lies small fishermen’s colony called Wandoor. Surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and some 15 lonely island s .Wadoor is a hotspot for biological biodiversity.
Designated as a marine wildlife sanctuary, wandoor marine national park is also known as Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. The moment is restricted for the tourist except the Red Skin / Jolly Boy Island. Either of these two islands is open for visit during a given day. And one can witness under water corals by snorkeling or through glass bottom boat or just can swim in the crystal clear water.
One can even experience SCUBA DIVING in the park. The varied color of coral formation, and different varieties of Marine Life under the blue ocean in unique and life time experience.
BOTH SCUBA DIVING AND SNORKELLING CAN BE UNDERTAKEN BY ANY BODY EXCEPT CHILDREN IN CASE OF SCUBA DIVING.
Day Excursion to Baratang Island
Known for its tribal population, considered to be one of the oldest tribes in the World. There are around 5 different tribes in Andaman Islands. Among this many tribes you can encounter the “JARWA TRIBE “on the way to Baratang island.
Take an early morning trip to Baratang island, the trip will start early in the morning. In a 3 to 4 hrs journey through Andaman Trunk Road, the biggest road network in Andaman, you will cross over the Jarwa Reserve Area, a primitive tribe of Andaman. These tribes are facing the danger of extinction, due to invasion, and their regular interaction with the outsiders for food. Even though they are under strict supervision but may find a few. On arrival to the Baratang Island, visit the lime stone cave, then the Mud Volcano. Return back to Port Blair in the evening.
DAY 7 : MOUNT HARRIET
The Mount Harriet Island National Park is a national park and the highest mountain peak in south Andaman Islands. named after the wife of Robert Christopher Tytler “Harriet “, a British soldier, naturalist and photographer, who was appointed officiating Superintendent of the Convict Settlement at Port Blair in the Andamans from April 1862 to February 1864. It is known for its Andaman wild pigs, saltwater crocodiles, turtles and robber crab. ). Formerly it was the headquarters of the Chief Commissioner. The hill top provides an excellent view of the Port Blair city and the environs with the outline of Havelock Islands and Ross Island.
While on the way to the summit by vehicle one can experience traveling through Vehicle ferries and can take a stop at the famous Rs20 point. The picture of the designated note is same as one can view from this point.
Best time to Visit the site is during the evening as watching sun set over the islands from Mount Harriet is amazing.
