Mt. Kailash is claimed to be the apex of Hindu religious axis and it is one of the highest mountain in Tibet at 6712mts & Mansarovar Lake at 4556.76mts above sea level said to be the highest fresh water lake in the world, a difficult region to reach with variable and extreme weather condition.
During the last few years, not many travelers have been able to experience this region due to difficult road
Condition. It is necessary to make much preparation to ensure that has a reasonable chance of reaching Kailash Mansarovar and return. Basic lodge and few tea-houses can be found on the way but the plateau is so remote that it is not possible to travel for several days without Carrying food, camping equipment, and team of supporting crew.

Another way of life, and become part of such a devout pilgrimage as shown by pilgrims around the Holy Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar.
The Kailash tour begins from the arrival day in Kathmandu followed by meeting in the same evening.
Second day begins with Darshan of Pashupatinath and preparation for journey. Third day, we leave Kathmandu early morning by road to Kodari - Nepal/Tibet border which is approx 04 hrs drive. We spend couple of hours here for lunch, Nepal immigration formalities, transferring baggage and camping equipments across the Nepal/Tibet border to Zangmu in Tibet where the vehicles await for group member coming from Lhasa/Tibet i.e. approx 950km. Once again, it is necessary to go through Chinese immigration in Zangmu. From here, we travel by and ruisers from southern route of Tibet to Nyalamu and return from the same route to Kathmandu, Nepal after completion of Kailash tour.
Nature of Kailash Tour:
The traveler must understand about the nature of Kailash tour in which certain risks are involved while traveling to remote and high mountainous terrain without availability of proper medical facilities and rapid evacuation service that may cause loss of life. We, therefore, request all travelers to take major precautions in order to avoid unwanted situation.

Star dates are indicate to be in Kailash Mansarovar on full moon days i.e. seventh day of tour.
Tour cost for fix departure: IRs. 75, 500/- Per person on twin/triple sharing basis for Indian nationals holding Indian passport.
US$ 250/- extra applicable for USA passport holders & US$ 150/- for other nationals.
Tour cost includes: Accommodation:
03 nights stay in Kathmandu at deluxe hotel on twin sharing basis.
12 nights stay at local guest house in Tibet on twin/triple sharing basis with a common toilet.
While in Tibet, accommodations are in different size of room and bed or they are not available in one standard in all Places. Mostly, 2 - 4 - 6 people share a large room. In case, guest house is not available, two man tented camps with Toilets are arranged.
Meals: All vegetarian breakfast, lunch & dinner served as fix buffet in Kathmandu. While in Tibet, hot breakfast & Dinner, hot drink, soups are prepared at guest house/camp site & pack lunch served during the drive and Parikrama Trek.
Transportation:
Arrival, departure & sightseeing transfer by Coach / Car in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Darshan of Pashupatinath temple with Hindi/English speaking guide.
Kathmandu-Kodari-Kathmandu transfer by private Coach.
Use of 4500 series Land Cruiser based on four people in each vehicle in Tibet.
Supporting truck to carry luggage, foodstuff, camping equipment etc.
Yak & Yak man to carry luggage & kitchen during Parikrama trek.
Water: Mineral water for drinking & warm water for hand & face wash.
Visa/Permit Fee: Tibet Visa & Permit fees for Kailash Mansarovar.
Staff: Experienced Cook, Sherpa team, Tibetan Guide, and Nepali Tour Leader.
Camp supply: Two men tent, kitchen & dining tent, toilet tent, sleeping bag, mattress.
Complimentary: One complimentary duffle bag, wind cheater and a cap to each traveler.
First aid: Air compressor bag [Gamo bag], First aid kit, Oxygen for emergency.
Tour cost does not include:
Cost for International flight, international and domestic airport tax, and any service charge.
Insurance premium for Kailash tour. (It can be arranged at extra cost).
Cost incurred due to natural calamities such as landside, flood, snowfall, viral disease etc.
Emergency evacuation service, accidental, sickness, medical, and hospitalization charges.
Extra visa charge for splitting the group in case returning early or late.
Extra night stays in any place other than the schedule program.
Entrance & camera fee at monuments & temples in Nepal & Tibet.
Personal expense such as extra transfers, use of telephones.
Laundry, tips, beverages, pony & porters for personal use.
Air booking: If necessary, HHR will assist for the best possible airfare & deliver the tickets to respective address upon the receipt of full payment.
Booking & Payment Procedure:
1. The traveler must disclose personal details as in the passport. Such as: full name, date of birth, passport issue & expiry date, nationality, gender, occupation, two passport size photograph, mailing address, contact numbers of family or relatives in case of emergency.
2. The booking form along with 10% of tour cost per applicant as token to process booking and obtain permit for Kailash Mansarovar should reach us 90 days prior to travel date. The token is none refundable but adjusted with tour cost. Balance payment should reach 60 days prior to travel date.
Cancellation policy:
1. Full refund of tour cost if The Himalayan Hotels & Resorts (HHR) or Chinese Authority cancels the tour or failure to obtain visa, permit due to any technical reason.
2. If the traveller cancels the booking:
a. Full refund if cancelled 90 days prior to travel date.
b. Full refund except the token amount 10% of tour cost if cancelled 45 days prior to travel date.
c. 50% cancellation charge of tour cost if cancelled between 22 - 44 days prior to travel date.
d. 100% cancellation if cancelled 21 days or less prior to travel date (No refund) for whatsoever reasons.
NOTE: Should the authority of Nepal, Tibet/China, & India decide to change its regulations, alter on tax, Surcharge, visa, permit, transport cost, exchange rate in US $ after confirmation of tour, the same changes shall reflect to the given tour cost. |
