Day 1: Swim with Dolphin & Jozani Friendly monkeys forestry tour
After your arrival, you will take a boat all the way southwest of the Island to the fishing village of Fumba. You will then board the dhows n set off searching the Dolphins (85% chances). The species frequently found at Menai Bay are Spinner and Bottlenose dolphins. Swim with them as long as they stay close to the boat. You will then go on to one of the selected snorkeling areas, while accompanied by a snorkeling guide to show you points of interest and to assist the beginners.

Day 2: Mnemba Attol Marine Reserve & Zanzibar Tanzania spice tour
After breakfast, you will depart from the hotel to Mnemba Island. It is the most popular snorkeling spot in Zanzibar. Moorish idols, blue tang and clownfish are easy to see in a few feet of water, above a colorful, well-preserved reef. It’s a full-day excursion generally include a single snorkeling stop at Mnemba, as well as a lunch break on the beach and a chance to observe dolphins.

Day 3: Prison/Tortoises Island Snorkeling & Stone Town Tour
After breakfast, you will depart from the hotel for Prison Island. Earning its name as a former prison for slaves and a quarantine station for Zanzibar and the mainland, nowadays the island gives you the chance to escape for some peace and quiet.
The island lies just off the Old Stone Town, it is also a home to giant land tortoises that were imported from Seychelles in the late 19th century. Now it is more commonly known as a home of Zanzibar’s Giant Aldabra Tortoise colony, some of which are over a hundred years old! This endangered species came to Zanzibar as a gift from the government of Seychelles.
Once on the island, you have the opportunity to feed and pet the tortoises; if you have time you may also like to take a stroll through the forested interior where you will see a wide variety of birds, colorful peacocks, bats, and beautiful butterflies. Keep your eyes peeled too for the shy and elusive Duikers – an unusual tiny antelope species.
It is fringed with a beautiful coral reef, ideal for snorkeling, and has a lovely white beach for sunbathing. This tour is a great way to see some history and wildlife, and also to see Stone Town from the sea as many old maritime legends would have done.

The beach is the perfect place to unwind with a good book and a glass of your favorite beverage. This is also a haven for underwater lovers as you can also enjoy a day of snorkeling or scuba diving. Indeed, a place to relax for all type of travelers. Don’t forget to stroll along the white sands of Kendwa and to take photos for your loved ones. Later you will depart back to Dar Es Salaam with the last ferry boat.
